Thembelihle Chitenje

My name is Thembelihle Cherity Chitenje, I am a public relations and communications graduate and a current Honours student in Strategic communication  at the University of Johannesburg.

During the course of my education, I was equipped with the knowledge base that includes researching, formulating campaigns for brands, and insight on topics surrounding integrated communication. I believe with both my acquired knowledge and practical skills I can positively contribute to any organization.

My practical skills are the result of volunteering as a social media manager for a start up company that aims to target youth unemployment. My role consists of content creation, copywriting, social media calendar planning and managing, graphic design, audience research, and time management skills. Additionally, my sales experience has bestowed valuable insight on stakeholders perceptions and expectations from a brand and organisation, this would prove valuable in research and community engagement.
