Thato Malebo

My favourite thing to do is collaborating with talented people on important projects; whether it's in real estate, advertising, or behind the scenes on a television set. My background as an Urban Sociologist has afforded me the versatility of working in any work environment. 

I started my work experience as a Sociology tutor at the University of Johannesburg in 2017. I then moved to Poland in 2018 to work in a very creative advertising space as a sales and marketing manager in a multinational, start-up company named OptAd360. Upon my return back home in 2019, I developed an interest in television, and I worked for a popular breakfast TV show (The Morning Show on Etv) as a content producer. I'm currently in real estate, working as a Property Practitioner where I was recruited by KCP Housing back in 2021. My experience of working abroad ignited another passion in me, of seeing my own people living in dignified housing, in a clean and productive environment. 

My qualifications are as follows: undergraduate degree in BA Social Sciences, majoring in Sociology and Anthropology; and an Honors degree in Urban Sociology. All qualifications were acquired at the University of Johannesburg. My first love is research. I enjoy writing and making sense of information.
