My name is Thapelo Mokolo. I was born on 25 August 1998 in Gauteng, Pretoria. My life started in Johannesburg, Randburg where I live presently. I’m the second child and the first son in a family of 3. My Mother, Mrs Mokolo is a compliance officer and currently works for Absa Bank.

My father, Mr Mokolo is a senior Economic analyst and currently works for the government. I started my school days at Sharonlea primary school where I enjoyed my most imaginative and creative years as a child. I later completed my matric at Northern Academy Secondary school in 2017.

Growing up, My father was a profound teacher and my sister was an overachiever, there were a lot of rivalries and positive competition. It was a normal sibling rivalry that happened to benefit me. I was more rebellious than my older sister while I was growing up.

I am known for taking interest in the innovation of technology, engineering and While  I was in high school, information technology was one of my elective subjects and that is where I admired the field of software development and programming. Watching and playing Football is one of my favourite hobbies.
football/soccer has been in my heart since my earlier days as an infant.

I'm currently a student registered for BSc. degree majoring in computer science and informatics. I chose this qualification because problem-solving is my best strength, IT(Information technology) is a sector of the industry that is in high demand for skills and jobs both globally and locally in South Africa, Job security is a huge advantage in the industry as to why I chose to study this specific qualification.
 

No professional experience as yet. A new graduate.

I'm currently completing my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in Computer Science and Informatics in two weeks. I have fully completed all majors relating to information technology but im completing my minor in mathematics (MATHS2) which should be completed by the end of novermeber 2022. The qualification mentioned above is from the University of Johannesburg.
