• Planning, manages safe execution of the maintenance plan. Ensure there is a plan on how maintenance will be executed, the resources to execute the plan are organised, thereafter controls are in place to ensure it is safe to return the plant to service after maintenance/failure, quality checks has been done. 
• Ensure compliance to the SHEQ policy. Ensure the team is fully equipped so that they can be able to execute their duties. They are trained ,found competent for all the tasks they need to perform. Ensure that for every activity there is safe work procedure that is detailing how the work will be executed and its well understood by the task team.
• Ensure customer complaints are resolved on time
• Managed section projects and have a better understating of the FIDIC, NEC contract and I establish NEC contracts.
• Ensure network incidences are investigated and corrective actions are implement in order to improve network/ plant performance. Ensure section KPI’s are being met.
• When given a delegation as middle manager always ensure I  operate within the delegation.
• Ensure operating and restoration of supply is executed safely. Manages implementation of engineering instruction. Ensure that for every task to be executed there is a safe work method in place and executors where involved when its developed. Ensure that all potential risk are mitigated or eliminated.
• Initiate projects for aging plant and defective plant  

2005-2013     Field Services Engineer. 
( Eskom operations and maintenance department)
• Investigated plant and network incidences,  and implement recommendations. 
• Initiated project for reliability and major maintenance projects. 
• Developed technical bulletins where gaps identified and implemented engineering instructions. 
• Investigated customer complaints and relentlessly pursues customer focus
• Developed commissioning procedures and bypass procedures. 
• Ensure all the plant is maintained on time. Ensure staff is trained for all the task to be executed.
• Creating a safe environment for the people , the plant , and environment has been my number one priority, always ensure zero harm.

2003-2005       Senior Technician
• Managed the execution, closing of maintenance and breakdown work orders.
• Investigated poorly performing plant, customer complaints and implementations of recommendations. Ensured section KPI’s are met.
• Acted as Senior supervisor and won an award as best improved technical services centre. At the time I supervised approximately 40 people including casual labour.  The were 16 employees at the main office and the remainder as the 2 satellite TSC’s with the customer base 3200. Always ensure our expenditure stays within budget
