Dear hiring team

My name is Thabiso Xakata, I would like to express my interest in applying for the Information and communications Technology internship. I am on my 3rd year of studies in Information and communications Technology, specialising in Business Applications at Tshwane University of Technology.

I am an abstract thinker, a leader, and an honest team worker. My passion for Information and communications technology started when I was very young, I must have been 12 years old, when they bought my friend his first computer. It was a beauty; you could play games and play music with these machines. I wanted to know more, how it was made, how it runs, what other things is it capable of. I have immense knowledge Management of Information Technology, Informations Systems’ analysis, Business Analysis, Software development, computer repair and maintenance. I work well under pressure, I am committed, resilient and punctual.

I believe that my education has equipped me with enough skills to be a game changer in the Information and communications technology field. I can program in various programming languages such as C++ and Visual basics. I also possess a variety of soft skills such as emotional intelligence, good listening, and communication skills. I am vibrant young man who believes that he can be an asset in any organisation.

I am optimistic, I enjoy playing games, watching documentaries, and reading books. I also enjoy cycling as a form of exercise. Being part of this internship will enable me to register Work Integrated Learning and finally obtain my national diploma, I know being part of the internship programme will give me enough experience to help me begin my career, so I can be able to build a life for my children and offer them opportunities I did not have in life. I know given the chance, I will excel and become an asset to my team and the organisation.

I am willing, able, and very capable. I deserve to get this opportunity because I do not only have the necessary technical skills, but I am also very dedicated, enjoy solving problems, creative, ambitious, resilient, passionate, family oriented and respectful.
