 I am a passionate and enthusiastic individual who loves working with people and enjoys traveling and learning about new ways of doing things. I also enjoy writing and content designing in my free time, as it allows me the time and space to widen my imagination. 

I hold an honors degree in Agriculture from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with rural development as my area of specialization. I have been involved in community work for the past 11 years. Previously I worked for the Farmer Support Group (FSG) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal as a Project Officer. During my tenure at FSG, my focus was on climate-smart agriculture with the aim to improve farming practices for greater resilience against climate change.  Furthermore, I worked on a participatory innovation project (PID) in 2016/17 in collaboration with the Institute for Natural Resources (INR). Finally, I was part of a participatory project of growing potatoes in bags, in Msinga, Swayimane, and Bergville areas. I have also worked for Mahlathini Development Foundation for 6 years focusing on conservation agriculture as an alternative approach to farming in smallholder farming systems. 

I have a Bachelor of Agriculture (Honours) majoring in RuraL Resource Management and I am currently pursuing my masters.
