Experienced in strategic sourcing of goods, works and services, evaluation thereof, contract administration and management in accordance with the mandate and the mission of an organization

Currently employed at JayVikay Group as an operations manager, I am involved in long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall strategic and business objectives.  Developing and implementing operational policies and strategies ensuring that the company functions smoothly.  I also lead and drive strategic and transformational projects, initiatives, and activities, through effective management of Supply Chain, from demand planning to customer / supplier contract management and the release of finished goods.

Prior to joining JayViKay Group, I spent most of my working career at South African Tourism Board (a Schedule 3A Public Entity), just shy of 26 years.  The last position I held there was as Head of Supply Chain and Asset Management where I managed the supply management functions of 17 Business Units and 10 international offices.

I also managed the Logistics Management Agency for the organisation locally and 3 other similar agencies overseas (UK, USA and Netherlands) responsible for all our warehousing and courier services (which includes, road, sea and air freight).  I furthermore managed the entities contracted Travel Management Consultant who provided travel management services to the organisation on a global basis more than R120 million per annum.

Studied accounting and UNISA
