Tamsyn Farmer

I am an LLB graduate of Stellenbosch University, I was admitted as an attorney of the High Court 4 March 2022. I am a friendly, articulate and focused person. I am passionate about the law, and I would be most grateful to serve you and your team as well as develop my own skills and grow in your guidance and care. I assure you that I am extremely hardworking and willing to learn and put in any amount of time and effort necessary to become the best possible legal professional. I believe that I would be extremely well-suited for this position as I have a keen interest in Environmental Law. I have also completed and International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals. Owing to me occupying various leadership positions throughout my life, I have developed vital communication skills. I consider myself a worthy candidate as I possess numerous interests outside of being a legal practitioner. This is indicative of the fact that I am a well-rounded applicant as opposed to a purely academic one. I believe that my drive and ability to work well with any individual is what sets me apart from others. I have been developing my interpersonal skills since becoming a youth group leader and serving in various forms of leadership during my school and university career and now also my professional career. I have been in contact with different types of personalities in varying environments leading to more flexibility and understanding on my own part. I care deeply for people and will always do my best to serve clients with dignity and respect. I have exposure into the inner workings and processes at the financial institutions such as the Royal Bank of Canada and Nomura etc. I remain eager to learn and believe that I have shown myself teachable. I am motivated to meaningfully contribute to your organization, and I would be most grateful for the opportunity to do so while learning and working with your team of legal experts.
