Sthembele Myeza

I finished my final year in Architectural Technology in 2011 at the Durban University of Technology. I have 10+ years of experience, both in-office and technical (on-site) combined.

I am an ambitious senior architectural technologist who possesses the skill and flair needed to plan, coordinate, and be involved in all phases of an architectural project. On top of all of this I have superb communication skills and client liaison ability as well as an understanding of SANS 10400.

As it has been the core of my work lately, to handle the council submission process and see to it that plan applications are approved, I have accumulated a lot of knowledge, understanding and application of the NBR and SANS10400

Over the course of my architectural career, I have worked on a variety of projects in the residential, education, healthcare, and commercial sectors. 

I have also managed to enrich my skills on understanding the different guidelines/ modules for various building types.

I worked as an architectural intern from 2008-11, gaining 2.5 years of experience as a team player in multidisciplinary projects. From 2012 - 15, I was working independently, solving problems on my own to meet deadlines and working with local authorities to gain plan approval.from 2016 - date, I have been a team leader in various projects.

I hold a Diploma in Architectural Technology (DUT)

Ecxcellent Revit, AutoCAD ArchiCAD and MS Office tools

Good knowledge of the SANS 10400 and NBR

Excellent BIM skills and understanding
