I am a 47 year father of two boys, husband and avid 4x4 enthusiast who loves the outdoor life. I am currently living on the West Coast, Saldanha Bay Municipal area, but my professional career head office is based in Bellville, Cape Town.

I am currently the Cape area Production Manager for Afrisam ReadyMix Cement Plants and am a qualified Red Seal Trade TestedElectrician with 18 years experience in Low Voltage Electrical Field. I have excellent management and communication skills and currently oversee five (5) cement production plants in the Cape Metropole area. My current duties includes - Ensure production volumes of 5 Cement Ready mix plants are met in Cape Area, Managing 10 Permanent Staff direct reports and 10 Contractor staff direct reports across all plants, managing OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiencies) for all plants, Ensure all Plants comply to SABS standards and Audit ready, Investigate customer complaints and short measures
Ensure good customer and supplier relations, Monthly reconciliation of all Plant stock levels and batch variances, Ensure staff comply with Health and Safety Standards, Ensure all plant compliances and administration records are in place, Ensure staff quarterly KPI's are documented, Ensure plants costs are low and within budget, Investigate all plant non-conformance incidences and quality failures. My previous work experience includes working as an Electrician at Arcellor Mittal, Water treatment plant. My duties were mostly operational, and also included Knowledge of SAP system. Supervision of contractors. Authorized responsible person under Saldanha Steel regulations etc. Prior employment includes the City of Cape Town Electricity Department
