I am currently completing my Masters by thesis in psychology. I have a passion for sharing the knowledge of the psychological field and emphasizing the importance of research to students.

2022-present

Presenting lectures on Psychological Skills Training, mindfulness, expertise, leadership and performance anxiety to the second year General Psychology class. Additional tasks included setting and marking the term assignment.

Graduate Assistant for Third Year Psychology | Rhodes University Department of Psychology

2021 – Present

Overseeing the third year psychology tutors and taking care of administrative tasks for lecturers. 

Psychology Tutoring | Rhodes University Department of Psychology

2020 – 2023

Facilitating small group discussions for second and third year psychology students based on work learnt in lectures as well as marking essays and practical assignments. 

I am submitting my Masters dissertation in December 2023 the title of my research is: The lived experiences of well-established counselling psychologists in South Africa and the subsequent impact on their professional identity.
