Summary of Job Profile

Develop capacity in the CSI Portfolio in order to facilitate, develop, identify, implement, monitor and evaluate social responsibility programs for the organization.

Implement and project manage the company’s CSI Strategy and Programme operationally, ensuring that implementation time frames are achieved, the budget is effectively controlled and effective relationships are developed with relevant stakeholders.

Project Conceptualization

  • Research potential CSI initiatives, in line with the Company CSI Strategy.
  • Conceptualize potential projects in to a proposal/ business case format.
  • Ensure alignment of all the company CSI initiative with environmental -sustainability- and education elements and as such, project concepts are often very technical and scientific.

Project Management 

  • Implement, manage and monitor existing and future projects as part of a programme and ensure projects are implemented in line with strategy, within budget, time and quality.
  • Follow-up on installation and infrastructure investment aspects of projects.
  • Perform hands-on tasks to ensure that projects are implemented successfully.

Reporting and Measurement

  • Develop dashboards per projects and programme to track the      investment made in terms of CSI.
  • Develop tools to measure the impact of CSI initiatives and report monthly, quarterly and annually on all CSI activities and progress;

Stakeholder and Relationship Management 

  • Interact with stakeholders within Company and from surrounding communities where CSI projects are being implemented.
  • Liaise with the Marketing Department in terms of promotional activities, public relations and management of the company brand.

Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE)

  • Ensuring that CSI or SED receive full BEE score. Also use CSI initiatives to contribute to other elements of the BEE scorecard.

Marketing

  • Liaise with marketing Department about publishing of CSI activities and company’s brand.

Enterprise Development

  • Chairperson of the Enterprise Development Committee.
  • Identify and Facilitate potential ED projects.
