I have gained valuable experience working as a student assistant librarian at the UKZN library. In this role, I performed a wide range of tasks to support library operations and assist patrons. From cataloging and shelving books to helping library users with their research inquiries, I developed a solid understanding of library functions and honed my organizational skills. This experience also allowed me to enhance my communication skills as I interacted with diverse individuals and provided them with the information they needed. Working in the library environment has instilled in me a strong sense of attention to detail and a passion for knowledge management.

In addition to my library work, I also had the opportunity to work as a salesperson at the One Stop Pawn Shop. This experience allowed me to further refine my customer service skills and develop expertise in sales techniques. I engaged with customers on a daily basis, assisting them with their purchases and offering detailed information about various items. Through this role, I learned to assess the value of different products and effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers. These experiences in the retail industry strengthened my interpersonal skills and helped me become adept at building rapport with customers.

The UKZN BCom Honours in Supply Chain is an advanced program offered by the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. It focuses on supply chain management, covering logistics, procurement, operations, and strategic planning. The curriculum includes courses on supply chain strategy, global management, and sustainable practices. Students develop analytical skills through case studies and group projects. Graduates are prepared for roles such as supply chain analysts, logistics managers, or procurement specialists.
