Siyabonga Buthelezi

Bachelors of Engineering Technology in Mechanical Engineering, Kyokushin Karateka. seeking roles in Engineering. I have developed good communication skills during my academic study by participating in group works, assignments, mini project and other academic tasks. Also developed skill to adapt to change during my participation in academic tasks, also successfully developed good skills in discipline, urgency, accuracy and problem-solving skills through the discipline of kyokushin kai kan karate, participating in University Sport South Africa as a DUT karate team member since 2018 till present. I have developed skill to work under pressure during my academic studies as there were some long strikes which lead to having to cover lot of work and have to do lots of practical assignments and mini projects in a very short time and also due to the pandemic outbreak.

I currently do not have any work experience but have developed some relevant skills during academic study period.

Mechanical Engineering Graduate and Participated in DUT 2021 COHORT 3 Leadership and Workplace Readiness Training. During the COHORT 3 Leadership and Workplace Readiness Training I have developed an intuition and understanding the relevant behavior and approach required on the workplace, specifically the work ethics in both workplace and leadership skills. I have developed basic principle of understanding refrigeration systems, heat exchangers, hydraulic pumps, centrifugal pumps, impact of jet, torsional test, direct and alternating current circuit, reach assignments: nanofluids, generation of electricity in south Africa, functioning of self-driving cars, how turbochargers work. Also participated in simulation assignment using Libre CAD and GIM for Mechanics of Machine 301 graduate attribute assignment, pipe solver in Fluid Mechanics 301 graduate attribute, MATLAB and GNU octave for Computing and IT 101
