advertised on LinkedIn. My resume is enclosed for your assessment. Given my related experience
and excellent capabilities, I would appreciate your consideration for this job opening. I believe my
skills and experience that I've gained thus far will be of benefit to your company.
I am familiar with good laboratory practice and problem-solving initiative pertaining to issues and
reports, research and report writing, analysing, interpreting, and recording data, developing,
implementing and maintaining information management systems using LIMS. I also have knowledge
of ISO 17025:2017 and I am currently registered for short courses at CPUT; Quality Control
Techniques (completed) and ISO9001:2015(in progress).
The experience that I have gained so far of testing and analysing products from raw materials,
processing and finished products using various methods of testing and sampling. Also, to assist all
departments where necessary while following standard operating procedures and adhering to
standards. I have technical background and knowledge in a similar environment, good time
management, the ability to work under pressure, ability to take initiative and good communication
skills.

Position: Lab technician
Duration: September 2017- present.
Roles:
 Participate and Facilitate Quality Focused Improvement.
 Store data and documents according to SOPs.
 Review Finished Products Certificate of Analysis for distribution.
 Laboratory finance and stock management: - Upload Purchase requisitions (PR) on JD- Edward for
Lab consumables, chemical reagents, Lab services, equipment calibrations and maintenance etc.
Add suppliers on JD- Edward.
 Send of samples for finished products that require external testing to designated laboratories
and capturing results provided.
 Laboratory equipment management: - Requesting quotes for equipment calibrations,
maintenance and or annual services. File calibration certificates and validation documents. Create SOPs for new equipment and new methods, review, and update SOPs to adhere with
current compliance practices.
 Record, interpret and report testing results to lab supervisor and manager and report any non-
conformances to the lab manager.
