About Sibongakonke Ngobe:

I am a young, driven, female who has recently graduated from her honours in Psychology. I possess exceptional skills in research, computer fundamentals and . I value integrity and striv to achieve company goals . I am currently employed as a language consultant, however I am looking into improving my professional skills in a different field of work. I believe that my positive attitude and willingness to learn will allow me to devise, and implement new programmes that that will yield high excellence. Experience

I have professional experience in the following fields:

Language Consultant:
Facilitating written or spoken communication in English to adult students from South America. Provide effective listening skills, be sensitive to student individual needs, have high tolerance and patience.
Make use of technical procedures outlined by the company and the client. Ensure to report technical issues to the support staff in the events of experiencing technical issues.
Review written essays or transcripts of clients in the outlined time frame. Make use of planning schedules and organisation skills. Be able to work under pressure.
Provide the client with flexible and daptable individualized teaching style which is suitable for each client. Include interpretation and useful recommendations for the client to improve their fluency.
Complete session or progress report at the end of each session. This report includes a reflection of the lesson taught, edited and translated notes for the client to use as homework.


Masifunde Learner Development Tutor:
Providing educational support, assessments and interventions in a holistic and sustainable manner to learners in Grade 10 and grade 12.
Contribute to student learning, growth and advancement.
Reviewing classroom or curricula topics and assignments.
Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and assigned academic tasks. Working with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom. Facilitate problem-solving with a curious mind and critical thinking skills.


Beyond the classroom (BTC) Voluntee work:
Engage in multiple volunteer opportunities in the flied of Psychology. Create and organize mental health awareness campaigns, support group workshops and community outreach programs.
Make use of practical and creative thinking through research work and conducting presentations on mental health issues.
Participate in care-work such as volunteering in residential care homes, orphanage and day centres for individuals with mental health problems and/or learning disabilities. Improve counselling/listening skills by volunteering at local Provincial hospital.
Conducting ethical leadership and teamwork with others from diverse backgrounds.
Implementing conflict resolution and communication skills to to gain relevant skills and knowledge.
  
Nelson Mandela University, Psychology department:
Providing assistance to 1st year Psychology students before and during the axamination. Providing students with additional answer booklets upon request.
Ensure that all candidates have equal opportunity to demonstrate their potential. Patrolling the test venue to maintain a steady but calm presence.
Preventing candidate malpractice through surveying the area to perceive abnormal activity. Provide acting on cheating and other violations to the rules in a non-disruptive manner.
Accompanying students to the restrooms and confirming that they have signed the register to monitor movements and suspicious behavior.
Collecting test papers and scripts per students' individual requests and at the end of the test period. Attending to administrative failures. Counting submissions to ensure that all are present and neatly organized. Transporting all pertinent materials to predetermined drop-off points in a safe manner.
