About Sheldon Govender:

I am an accomplished Process Engineering Metallurgist with more than 4.5 years’ experience in enforcing compliance and improving steps in accomplishing goals. I am a success driven individual committed to proactive planning and goal-oriented work in line with business needs. I have a passion for problem solving and data analytics and have already been able to combine these two skills in assisting with improved production and quality output in the Cobalt sulfate section. The work of which has led to the section being voted as top 3 finalists in two separate categories in the 2023 Anglo Platinum Applaud Awards competition. I have also managed to successfully act as both Metallurgical Technical Engineer and Plant Production Manager while at RBMR. I have played a pivotal role in engaging with our new shift leaders and training them with regards to the plant requirements, going above and beyond their daily routines (daily PI vision trend analysis and daily lab result analysis).
