About Sheetal Sookoo:

Microbiologist specializing in industrial hygiene standards, GMP, GLP, ISO Standards and research development of microbial procedures. I currently supervise a multidisciplinary team of analysts in a SANAS 17025 accredited laboratory to provide solutions for sustainable farming and improving microbial quality of soil. My 10 years of work experience across testing laboratories, research, quality management systems and industrial environments have molded me to drive continual improvement. I am able to use a combination of problem-solving skills and industry tested best practices to streamline processes and systems. I specifically enjoy introducing change to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. I have recently competed my honors degree in Biochemistry at the University of Johannesburg, a full-time degree that I took on while still working full time, driven by my passion to continuously learn, grow and upskill myself. I will be pursuing my MSc in Biochemistry in 2023.
