About me:

I am a BA Humanities 2020 graduate from Stellenbosch University. I majored in the social sciences. I grew up in a small town, Rondeberg went to Robinvale High School. I love working with people and is always eager to learn and grow. In this regard, my passions include listening to people, providing them with strategies and tools to improve their lives. I love empowering people through knowledge and helping them grow and evolve, and once I have graduated completely, I hope to plough back into the community around me to inspire and empower individuals.

My interests include mental health-care, fitness, art and self-development. I believe that personal growth is optimal for us to fulfil our purpose(s) in life. Hence, I view obstacles and struggles as stepping stones that will bring me closer to goals not sidetrack me from it. 

Some of my characteristics/skills include: critical thinking/analysis, agile learning, creativity and authenticity, effective and clear communication, resilience, detail oriented, organised and strategic planning etc.

Education:

My recent qualification obtained is a Bachelors degree in Arts from Stellenbosch University. I majored in Sociology and Psychology. I am currently a Special student in Arts completing a non degree programme. To improve certain marks so I can obtain entry into the Psychology Honours programme.

Experience:

In terms of professional experience I have worked as a promoter during my gap year, 2016. In which I was thought the value of effective communication skills, teamwork and planning and organising specific campaigns. Alongside the managers of the Company. 

The year, 2019 and 2020 I took on the opportunity to be a store associate for the Mr Price Group. It was another professional learning experience in which the values and key principles of working retail were taught to me.
