I'm a dedicated HR Professional with a solid 13-year track record in Human Resources.  I’m eager to elevate my skill set through both internal and external training, with a keen focus on advancing my career in Training & Development, Skills Development, and Facilitation.  Accomplished in policy development and adept at managing employee relations, among other key competencies.

Experience

My role encompasses a wide array of Human Resources (HR) responsibilities, including:

  1. Employee Support and Evaluation: Providing assistance to employees with HR-related issues, initiating the evaluation process, and suggesting policy changes.
  2. Personnel Management: Overseeing personnel activities, policies, and procedures.
  3. Talent Acquisition and Management: Managing the talent acquisition process, conducting disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Additionally, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and conducting interviews.
  4. Compliance and Reporting: Reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure compliance with current employment laws. Handling monthly payroll and managing HR reporting processes, including generating EMP201 and EMP501 reports for SARS submission.
  5. Record Keeping and Documentation: Compiling and maintaining employee files and records, both electronically and in paper format. Ensuring the confidentiality and security of employee information.
  6. Strategic Partnership and Planning: Collaborating with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's HR and talent strategy. This involves addressing current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  7. Training and Development: Evaluating employees, identifying training needs, and creating training materials. Tracking employee success and progress after training.
  8. Exit Processes and HR Duties: Coordinating exit interviews and performing other HR duties as required.
  9. Administrative Tasks: Managing all social media sites, scheduling meetings, interviews, and HR events.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with HR trends, providing ongoing support to employees with HR matters, and continuously improving HR processes.

Furthermore, the role involves various administrative tasks such as producing employment contracts, managing employee files, creating job descriptions, and designing HR correspondence and templates. It also includes attending and representing the company in disciplinary procedures and CCMA cases, writing contracts for both employees and independent contractors, and managing all UIF documents for staff.

Education

I completed my secondary education at Bracken High School from 2002 to 2006. 

Subsequently, motivated by financial considerations, I embarked on a Diploma program in Human Resources through the online platform Alison. Currently, I am actively pursuing a certificate in Strategic HR Management & Development, also facilitated by Alison.
