Worked as a social worker for the past 10 years at the Department of Social Development. I have gained extensive experience in working with diverse populations, including children, families, communities and individuals with mental health issues. I have also worked with  various community organizations to develop and implement programs that address social issues such as poverty, homelessness, and domestic violence.

I have completed my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from University of Limpopo (Republic of South Africa), hold a honours degree in Psychology from University of South Africa and recently  Completed a master’s degree( Erasmus Mundus Master-Advanced Development in Social Work  )  that explored the key themes of international social work including international migration, de-colonial social work, and global inequalities from a perspective of critical analysis and innovative development. The degree was delivered across five universities in Europe, (UK, Denmark, Poland, Portugal and France). Successfully defended  research thesis Exploring the Experiences and Challenges of Overseas Trained Social Workers in England: Focusing on the perspectives of South African trained Social Workers . The research employed a Qualitative Research -methodology approach that involved gaining accounts from various social workers trained in South African in their transition in terms of knowledge and skills transfer in English social work context  which was thematically analysed. The research was accepted and  presented at the Advances Summer Conference in Paris, 04 July 2023.
