• Keep abreast of all industry related standards, regulations and guidelines and update internal standards accordingly.

• Product development and labelling management - Effective Management of adherence to NPD plan, process and timelines. Ensure 100% regulatory compliance
• Customer complaints management - Investigation and resolution of escalated Customer complaints ongoing.
• Compile Monthly reports for reporting to the business
• Training: Keep abreast of industry trends, new developments and legislative changes. Ensure training is done according to the training plan
• Conduct store visits to assist them into getting to the required Massmart Food Safety Management System (FSMS) levels.
• Influence the Food Safety Board of Directors target by proposing and assisting stores in rectifying all Non-conformances observed.
• Conduct Food Safety Training and Coaching.
• Propose cost saving projects for the business.
