I hold an MBA in General Management from Regent Business School, complemented by a post graduate diploma in Sustainable Development, certificate in Strategic Management, Project Administration, Compliance Management, and Knowledge Management. Additionally, I possess an advanced strategic management certificate from UNISA. My MBA Dissertation focused on evaluating IT governance, management, and its impact on organizational performance.

With extensive experience in ICT governance and administration, I’ve strategically supported IT senior manager, contributing to various governance, risk, and compliance initiatives. My role involved developing and reviewing policies, managing unit budgets, and participating in both internal and external audits. Additionally, I’ve been a key member of the Corporate Governance of ICT steering committee, ensuring that our strategic goals align with best practices.

In my current position within the Centre for Sustainable and Renewable Energy at Stellenbosch University, I have honed my initiative, self-confidence, and effective communication skills across all organizational levels. This role has provided a platform to work with diverse subordinates, enhancing my leadership capabilities.
