About Sean Steyn:

I have over 20 years of experience as an operations manager of one and multiple stores in the hospitality sector. I am looking to advance my abilities and knowledge and branch into other industries, where I can use my transferable skills, whilst challenging my abilities and growing as a person.  
A self-motivated, natural leader, who gets great satisfaction from seeing staff grow and develop under the correct management styles. I have invaluable experience in the hospitality and retail industry, and I am competent and able to manage all areas of Operations management.

Position: Operations Manager

 

Position entails the following tasks and responsibilities relating to the day to day running of the store:

  • Operations Management – contact and go between the Front of House, Back of House and store Owners. Responsible for the streamline of operations and running of the store.  
  • Team Performance - Management of the efficiency and teamwork of the store staff and management
  • HR function -handling of team conflict as well as disciplinary procedures if needed.
  • Hiring and onboarding of New Employees
  • Inventory Management – management of the stock held and accounted for in store.
  • Budget Management – management of the food costings and budget control for the store.
  • Customer Satisfaction – management of customer satisfaction and handling of complaints.
  • Marketing - Local in store marketing strategies and ideas.
  • Logistics  - Management of the delivery and receipt of raw product for preparation as well as management of third party delivery services.
