I am an accomplished Commercial Director/Senior Quantity Surveyor,  with over 27 years professional working experience across the construction sector. Well known for my ability to meet, achieve and exceed company, customer and project objectives.

Whilst focusing on the job, I am able to keep my eye on the horizon, growing and adapting organically to the environment that I am placed in. My proven track record of responsibility, integrity and commitment to company objectives has allowed me to be innovative in unlocking my growth. It is my strong belief that the detail lies in the execution, focus and timing.

-         Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.

-         Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)

-         Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.

-         Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing).

-         Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (marketing, sales, customer service etc.)

-         Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

-         Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring.

-         Managing tender Risk Analysis and contractual compliance.

-         Tender clarifications and work procurement management.

-         Identification and submission of contractual claims for sites.

-         Update and maintain cost reporting system, identify and run risk registers.
