Responsibilities: Sourcing and engaging in new business prospects, rate and service proposals, sales and operational reports, fuel and vehicle reports, reporting and handling of discrepancies and complaints, receiving and dispatching of cargo and delivery routes, ensuring correct protocol and procedures are followed both internal and external. Daily reports and duties included the following responsibilities but was not limited to: Opening and closing the Pretoria Branch. Attendance registers reports. Receiving and offloading links. Distributing cargo for specific routes to prep vehicles for loading. Supply purchase orders for fuel. Creating trips sheets for the drivers and route planning. Assist in loading and dispatching drivers. Following reports were submitted to head office on the daily: Attendance report, Fuel report, Floor report, Driver’s declaration of goods report for specific routes, Vehicle Check sheets and booking vehicles for service intervals, Vehicle service report and signed pod’s reports for each route. Arrange collections received during the day. Receive links for IBT loads. Submitting pre alerts to various receiving branches. Training new candidates. Servicing existing customers with quotations.
