2014 Chrysalis Academy - 3-month Youth Development Program
The Chrysalis Academy is a social crime prevention & youth development organization, 
which empowers young people ‘at-risk’ to
take responsibility for their personal growth. The Academy provides them with the 
necessary life skills and tools to become self-confident,
Economically productive and positive role models within their communities. Students are 
carefully selected for this
Residential course which includes:
Orientation – a foundation phase which covers psycho-social aspects (such as leadership, 
goal setting, human sexuality &
problem solving).
