As current General Manager, I am extremely familiar and experienced with the job and have had the opportunity to practice my profession for 20 years working experience. Working in multiple industries at senior leadership roles, i.e., Petrochemical at Sasol (as Supply Chain Manager), Steel at Macsteel (as General Manager Procurement and Logistics) and Mining at Anglo American (Head of Department Supply Chain; and General Manager Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Impact), has broadened my commercial, strategy and stakeholder engagement skills. In my journey, I led Supply Chain and Procurement departments and delivered significant value and efficient governance through efficient operating model. I led diverse and high-performance cross functional teams that enabled end-to-end supply value (Opex + Capex), simple but robust governance, warehousing and logistics that delivered competitive advantage to our business scorecards. As current General Manager Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Impact, I am the custodian of overall enabling business plan and budget, SLP and Mining Charter, Sustainable Mining Plan, IRMA + GISTM for ICMM and Communication. I am accountable for strategy, compliance and performance against all requirements and reporting
