I am 31 year old Medical Technologist in Clinical Pathology with +/-9 years of experience post qualification . I have extensively worked in Microbiology lab, Haematology, Chemical Pathology and recently STAT Lab. Professional-wise I’m patient orientated, driven, I pay attention to details and with me Quality is sacrosanct . Personality-wise, I’m easy. 

In Microbiology i have worked in routine lab and TB lab using Genexpert analyser, doing and reading auramine O stain using a fluorescent microscope. In Haematology I have worked in routine lab using a different number of analysers, I can accurately do manual different count, manual ABO, Rh grouping. Im competent in blood borne parasites, I was also involve in its EQC. im also vastly experienced in Chemical pathology having used a number of analysers from different diagnostic companies. I was recently involved in validation and verification of chemistry tests on a new analyser. also I can operate and maintain blood gas and Trop I Point-of-care analysers. I’m familiar with Trakcare and Meditech LIS. and have used Siemens, Beckman and Abbot sample automated line. I worked at NHLS Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital 18 months, NHLS Madadeni Lab 3 years and Pathcare reference lab 4 years.

I have Matric obtained from Ogwini comprehensive technical high school, National Diploma in Biomedical Technology from Mangosuthu University of Technology, I’m a qualified Medical Technologist in Clinical Pathology with active HPCSA registration. I’m trained in basic and advance Quality Control as per ISO 15189. I was trained by Pathcare lab in internal audit course.
