Ruth Dube

Ruth Dube is a Biological Scientist who has also gained experience in Project Coordination and Management over the years with more than 6years NGO experience in health sector. 

Ruth has had a privileged opportunity to work as a Lab Technologist in Clinical and Veterinary labs as well as a QA Analyst. She had also worked as a Production Supervisor for 3years running production in Food and Beverages industry. She then focused on health projects with as a Senior Analyst at an NGO for 5years -national rollout of lab instruments, monitoring stock, served as Project Manager at a local company and then finally worked as a Project Coordinator for an NGO leading a consortium monitoring essential medicines, children vaccines and PPE during COVID-19 pandemic. 

Key roles included:

project rollout, site assessments (GeneXpert installations and NHI readiness), stock monitoring, lab/ technical training, stakeholder management, communications and organizing strategic meetings and international conferences such as ASLM, Point Of Care. 

Ruth holds an Honours in Biological Sciences, an MBA focusing on Health care Management, Quality Assurance certificates and Good Clinical & Lab Practice as well as other supporting technical certificates such as POC, GeneXpert Training.
