Currently researching on medicinal cannabis for cancer treatment. Very passionate about knowledge sharing, and I am very open to learning.  I am seasoned chemical lab analyst with 15 yrs. experience in an ISO 9001:2015 accredited lab, and 2 yrs. experience in a quality environment. I am competent in chromatography techniques (GC and HPLC) among others in the lab and also experienced in quality management. I am a very good presenter and am very agile, a good team player and very result oriented. Believe in constant customer support and service. I am highly motivated, and I am not shy to ask for help, I believe we learn new things daily. 

Worked in the chemical lab for 15 yrs., as a technical support. My duties included: ensuring that all lab instruments are calibrated, verified and always online, training analysts on new techniques and methods, ordered consumables needed to keep the lab functioning, managed the consumable stores. Attended to safety incidents and shared learnings thereof. Further worked in the quality section for 2yrs. where I was a custodian of ISO9001:2015.  My duties were to implement the standard and ensure compliance is maintained mainly in the production and maintenance areas. Performed 1st party quality audits, raised findings and ensured that they were attended to before closure. maintained the quality critical calibration certificates for different sections. 

I obtained a Master of Applied Science in Chemistry in 2022. My research was on Fenton degradation of methylene in wastewater using different silica support sizes for iron catalyst.
