Ronald Chigariso

Ronald Chigariso is an experienced, results-driven Social Worker with three years’ practical experience in counseling, post and pretest counseling, crisis counseling, social research, data capturing, Child Protection especially Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC), Monitoring and Evaluation, advocacy, Case Management, HIV programming, Community empowerment and awareness raising. Ronald is flexible in problem solving, crisis intervention and protection of the vulnerable groups in any working environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ronald Chigariso is a hardworking, passionate and innovative professional who seeks to empower the marginalized groups in the communities and ensure that they access quality bio psycho social and developmental needs and services. I strongly seek a role which allows me to continue learning and perfecting my skills as I provide high quality work ethics.

Child Protection- I am experienced in proactive and reactive child protection issues like counselling and psychotherapy, social research, behavior modification, problem identification, awareness raising, community based movements, advocacy, case management and psycho social support.

Project Planning and Management –Ronald is experienced in project planning especially those aiming to improve the lives of the OVCs, women, People with HIV and AIDS, poor and marginalized communities. Ronald is skilled in community profiling, problem identification, proposal and concept note writing, stakeholder engagement, community participation, project implementation, procurement, risk management, quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation. National projects implemented include the National Action Plan for OVCs, Food Deficit Mitigation Program. At Local level, I implemented Putting Children First and Africa Fund in Muzarabani district.
