With over 16 years of experience in public affairs, public relations, business development and management consulting, Oscar is the former Business Director: Head of Public Affairs at Razor PR (an M&C Saatchi Group of Companies). He led a team of specialists who provide government relations, stakeholder and regulatory strategy development, crisis management, public relations, political counsel, management consulting and ESG policy and advocacy support to clients across various sectors and industries.

Oscar is also a respected leader and influencer in the media, communications, market research and business field, holding directorships and board positions at several organisations, such as the South African Reading Foundation, the Sifiso Falala Foundation, and Sovereign Africa Rating. He is the President-Elect of the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA), the Vice President of the Pan African Media Research Organisation (PAMRO), and a member of the Academic Advisor Committee for the Department of Integrated Communication at Tshwane University of Technology. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Henley Africa, with a focus on strategic management and leadership.Oscar's mission is to advance the standards and practices of business through public affairs and advocacy in Africa and beyond, and to leverage his expertise in media research and credit ratings to inform and influence decision-making and policymaking.

Oscar holds the following qualifications: BTech in Public Relations Management at Tshwane University of Technology, Diploma in Public Administration at Oxbridge Academy, and a National Diploma in Public Relations Management at Tshwane University of Technology.
