I am an extremely hard worker and I enjoy taking on tasks which challenge me and I will always put my best effort into my work. I thrive in a fast-paced work environment and I have always enjoyed being around people as well as working alongside them, however, working on my own has never been an issue as I am a diligent individual.

During the 4 years of my LLB degree I received multiple assignments which involved the summarizing of cases, legal opinions, drafting legal documents as well as indexing and paginating case files at the legal aid law clinic. This is where I shined. Due to having an eye for the details, I have always taken pride in my ability to take extra steps to ensure my best work is put forward.

I received a distinction in the legal language module as well as Computer Literacy and duly performed my writing, reading and numeracy skills modules with ease. Furthermore, I received distinctions ranging over different fields of law from Business Entities to Private International law, to name a few.

My practical time at the legal aid law clinic was where I blossomed. I enjoy interacting with people, clients and staff alike as well as drafting legal documents in a neat as well as professional manner. The face-paced and active environment of the legal aid clinic was extremely appealing to me and on occasion, I would stay after session and assist with the filing of client folders as I enjoyed the act of organization. I enjoyed making the clients feel comfortable as well as hear and assist where possible.

Since a young age I have always had a passion for writing. In primary school all the way to my university days I would write short stories in my spare time in order to hold onto my enjoyment for writing during heavy studying times. I have always had a love for cinema since I was a little girl. My passion for film is what got me to start writing in the first place and since then, I have always loved being creative. Despite law being viewed as quite the opposite of creativity, I tend to disagree. I found myself often being able to explore my creative side during my time studying my LLB degree as one would need to search for loopholes in case law. Through the use of my creative mind, it assisted me in thinking outside of the box while researching a particular case.

I am disciplined and focused on getting whatever tasks are required of me done on time and to the necessary standard. I am versatile as I am more than prepared to take on responsibilities which are out of my comfort zone as I believe this is where you learn the most. I am young, eager to learn and I hope to expand my knowledge by learning from individuals who have the expertise in order to equip me and allow me to apply it in my career. I believe one can never stop learning and I am a fast learner who is always seeking to improve.

Description:

I have waitressed at this establishment for several years and I believe this the place where I discovered my hard working ethic which I possess. I am aware multiple young people have been in this type of industry however, I do believe being exposed to it is very beneficial. I have learned in the service industry how to deal with different types of people and different types of personalities, how to read them and how to ensure they benefit from the service being provided. Also I thrived in this industry as it was face-paced and I enjoyed working alongside my co-workers all from different backgrounds. I've been exposed to dealing with customer dissatisfaction and I was able to provide a way in which to resolve the conflict in a positive and efficient way. Furthermore, on occasion, I would assist with the bar's stock take as well as the waiters' weekly roster.

Description:

I provided my services for this family, which consisted of a son and daughter, by means of an au pairing arrangement. I would pick them up from school, sport as well as extra-mural activities and drop them at home. I would also in the afternoon tutor the children in the subjects of English as well as business studies. I grew fond of the children and I was able to communicate well with them and I got to assist them in any type of questions in which they may have. I conducted my au pairing services during my third year of LLB alongside waitressing at the Charlie's Pizza and Pasta establishment in the evenings. Therefore this may provide some type of evidence that I possess a hard working ethic and I am able to multitask.
