Experience gained in Audit environment as an audit senior and a 3 months acting assistant manager:
> GRAP reporting framework, Modified Cash Standards, Public Finance Management Act and related regulations and instructions.
> Organizing meetings with the client to discuss audit plans and issues (meetings for business processes, discussing prior year issues).
> Monitoring the risk register and ensuring that all the risks are covered and addressed during the audit.
> Planning, allocating work and setting deadlines for trainees under my supervision.
> Providing guidance to trainee auditors with regards to audit planning, execution and reporting.
> Communicating audit findings with implementable recommendations to the client.
> Timeous review of completed audit work to ensure high quality of audit work.
> Preparing Technical consultations and assisting with the implementing of Material Irregularity processes.
> Escalating matters to the audit managers with regards to setbacks, delays and lack of client co-operation.
> Assisting the team performing the planning, execution and reporting audit work where less resources are available.
> Leading a team of 5 to 6 members during the regional audits.
> Adhering to the senior and Manager's audit deadlines.
> Providing value adding audit to the clients.
