Rebecca Briscoe, M.A.

Rebecca Briscoe is a Specialist Counselling Practitioner with a diverse background in clinical, organizational, and community mental health. She holds a Master’s in Psychological Research (Cum Laude) from the University of Cape Town and is currently in the process of publishing her thesis, Before, Behind, and Beyond Bars: Motherhood Among Previously Incarcerated Women in the Western Cape. Her professional experience includes providing therapy and developing mental wellness programs at BethShalom, implementing workplace wellness initiatives as Employee Relations Specialist at Marshall Security, and managing recruitment operations as a Recruitment Resourcer at Ntice Sourcing Solutions. She has also offered trauma-informed counselling to crime survivors through her ongoing volunteer work with the Rise Up Movement and South African Police. Additional roles include executive assistance at Lanline Technologies, part-time data analysis at Success On Hold, and caregiving at Ithemba Lethu NGO. For the past year, Rebecca has also been seeing clients privately, offering tailored psychological support in a one-on-one setting.
