I am a highly motivated person, with clear goals to strive and perform at my highest level, sober habits and have over 30 years experience in the telecommunications industry.

I started as an apprentice technician, and work my way up from a team leader to junior manager at Telkom. Started was a team leader for a civil contractor and later became General Manager at David Basson Construction for 10 years. I joined Fortel Investment for the last 8 years as a site manager doing CPE, FTTH last mile and had 30 plus teams under my direct supervision doing installations. I left the company in 2021.

1989-1992 Telkom Apprentice,1992-96 Senior Technician, 1996-1998 Junior Manager, 1998-2000 Relocated to Capetown as Technician civil, hauling, ALC . Retrenched in 2000 Jan. 2000-2003 contractors at  Telkom SAG/ GB civils. 2003-2013 David Basson Construction General Manager contracted to Telkom. 2013-2021 Site Manager Civil, CPE- Adsl installations FTTH project site manager i.e install ducts, floating of micro fibre 6-144. Fitting of splitters, ALC planting poles erection of fibre fitting B8G termination boxes. Termination/ Light up fibre in exchange and testing with Max tester, Submit test results to Telkom, test with OTDR for faults and repair if necessary.  All relevant courses was completed within company and received on the job training while in supervisory capacity/ manager.
