Brief History of Career
- I worked in the fields of both child and adult education for over ten years. In addition to teaching, my job also involved curriculum development, application of educational methodologies, student placements, assessments, and record keeping. My inherent passion for fostering collaborative and engaging educational environments has successfully encouraged and developed accomplished ESL students. Developing targeted curricula, planning instructional / training programs, and educating students of diverse ages and backgrounds, have all helped me in developing my facilitation, communication, and presentation capabilities over the years.
- I worked as an HR administrator at Vector Logistics and learned to hone my communication, organization, administration, problem-solving, data management, and recruitment and reporting skills.
- In my role as research, training, and project coordinator at MCI, Global, I provided administrative support to project managers, as well as coordinated, and monitored project schedules, events, budgets, resources, and communication. I did research for the Association Management division and assisted my manager with managing the ASQ (America Society of Quality) local member division, as well as helping coordinate their training and membership meetings.
- I worked as the Revenue Manager Assistant in the Revenue Department at CTICC where I gained invaluable experience working at a world-class International Convention Centre and further learned to develop my organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and, time management capabilities.
- I have in-depth experience in data management, research, report writing, developing presentations, drafting correspondence, organizing meetings and travel, event management, project coordination, HR, and customer service.
Education
I have a Bachelor of Social Science Degree and majored in Psychology, Industrial Sociology, and Science of Religion(UCT)) I also have a TEFL, Financial Advisor, and Customer Care Certifications. I would like to complete my studies in Human Resources and follow through with an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology, as well as complete an ODETDP Qualification.
