Precious nosipho

I am Nosipho Precious Donkrag and I am studying bachelor of Computing (BI) at the Belgium IT campus in Pretoria.

The university requires us to do our internship or graduate program in our final year of studies, as there is no coursework, but rather an independent project that runs throughout the year, thus instead of taking 3 years it takes 4 years to complete and it is accredited higher (NQF 8). Hence, I am applying for the year 2025.

I have a keen interest in machine learning and data science, and I have structured my learning on and off campus around these two areas. Through my studies I gained a strong foundation in programming, statistics, mathematics, and machine learning. Additionally, I have gained invaluable interpersonal skills through my on-campus collaboration with my peers.

I do not have professional experience and what I am studying as of yet. however, I have been doing projects outside of campus to help me gain the skills I require to enter this profession, some of the projects I have completed are on my GitHub and you can find the link to it on my CV.

bachelor of computing NQF(8), here students can take the software engineering or the data science and business intelligence route of study. I took the data route as this is what interests me the most.
