I am currently the Clearing & Forwarding Manager at my current company. 

Receive new shipments from customers & open files.
Process customs WE & XE clearance on Ship Shape
Obtain clearing instructions from Customers.
Obtain or create Importers LOA’s for shipping line releases.
Request shipping line charges & process for payment.
Process cargo dues on OTC
Process landing orders / Shipping Orders
Process release at shipping line.
Submit release documents on Lines online systems.
Expedite XE Releases with external clearing agents
Attend to mails timeously
Able to work under pressure
Customs / SAPS Stops. Oversee inspections & assist with additional requirements if requested.
Once released, arrange shipping lines release & transport for collection of the containers / bbk from
depot.
Check WE clearances of cross border truck coming into warehouse.
Oversee bond register & acquittals
Oversee Customs Clearances, assist with Tariff Codes & liase with customers for additional
requirements, such as Literature, COO Export entries, & letter writing to Customs.
I am able to work with all types of cargo & all modes of transport.
