Good day I am applying for a work opportunity. I am 32 Years of Age. Married and available as soon as possible. I don't drink, smoke, or have any health conditions. I am very healthy. Brief History: My career in the food industry started when I was 11 years old, cooking and working for my mother in the family catering business. I grew up among food in the heart of the Garden Route. I was young at the age 14, started a small business selling crafted watches hand made with pearls. This was to pay for pocket money so that I can spend it to buy a computer for gaming. After high school graduation I went into chef culinary art studies and completed my courses with CAIA. After CAIA I went to study at the FF Culinary academy. During my studies I did a cooking book with Peter Veldsman & also was part of Kokkedoor Television program season 1 in which I was taking part in for 7 episodes. Soon after I climbed to the ladder within local kitchens in rank, I was offered to work for the Pezula Golf club kitchen as Head Chef in 2013. I moved to the UAE shortly after and remained in the UAE until 2018. I worked at the Nofara Restaurant in which it was bought over by the Jones the Grocer fancies. I remained with Jones the Grocer & worked in many outlets as head chef. My duties were training and kitchen management. I ended up staying in one of the stores and restaurants in the Dusit Thani Hotel UAE in which I worked also for the hotel to assist with their kitchen and opening new restaurants, lounges, and other business ventures. Jones the Grocer placed me in charge also with product development, training & retailing of inhouse and curated imported goods for the whole sales stores within the Jones food & restaurant branches I decided to return to South Africa to take over my family business and rebrand it with large success. The company's name is CHEF! I also started an Online gaming company alongside CHEF! to host expo`s within the garden route South Africa. “Game Over Gaming”, is currently in full operation with two large events completed and we are doing our third event in April 2022. My skills in marketing, management and large-scale project management have grown. Skill I needed to run “GO”, came very naturally due to my experience working with the food franchise business in the UAE. Game Over is a company build around the geekgrid within the South African market. We reached our goals for last year’s operations with I success and halfway this year’s operations within the gaming scene. This initiative was a partially owned by me and my wife. Thus, for the ownership of the company I can hand over responsibilities as soon as I am employed if any of the contracts require me to do so. Thus, from my history, I have strong skills in management, retail, staff handling & strong business experience hens that I am actively perusing a career in business from a very early age. I can identify customer needs & cater for those needs. I can stock rotate & upsell. Communicating and stock handling I can do very well & focus my attention to service provision in every way I can manage. The main reason why I am seeking employment is because the current market is unstable thus the future of my companies isn't certain. I am passionate about my cooking & gaming, but I excel under pressure, and I can lead any team to get the best results possible. I am very willing & agreeable in terms of negotiations.
