Pieter van Sittert

Pieter is a Senior SAP Specialist with more than 28 years’ extensive experience as an SAP Functional Consultant specialising in the SAP PPM and SAP PS modules, with full integration to all SAP modules, SAP NetWeaver and other 3rd party systems. His analytical skills and critical thinking enables him to understand and define business processes and to interpret this into the solution as a holistic solution to the client.

He also holds a Certificate in Project Management from the University of South Africa.

He has done numerous full life cycle implementations across multiple industries, local as well as globally, including Europe, UK, Middle East and Africa, performing the following duties:

• Multiple complete full lifecycle project implementations, including new product roll out and system conversion
• Business requirements gathering and scoping to blueprinting.
• Process design and mapping of the business processes to solutions design.
• System design and writing of Functional specifications and Technical Specifications.
• System configuration and customisation.
• Implement the process driven solution including the complete testing cycle, training and going live.
• Perform project close out activities.
• Liaise with middle to senior/executive level managers in designing and implementing the solution
• Communicating with fellow project team members as well as other internal stakeholders to resolve issues of common interest and/or to share information;
• Ensuring accurate record keeping, document and content management of all project and business-related documentation.
• Environments: SAP R/3, SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA with Fiori as well as SAP PPM, SAP xRPM, SAP cProjects and SAP PPM NetWeaver.
• Designing customer specific processes
• Training documentation and presenting Training

With his expertise in the SAP Project related modules, combined with his Project Management Certificate and associated experience as a SAP Project Manager, his implementation experience is not only to an IT implementation project, but delivering the whole holistic Project Management concept to a Company, including software support of the project management principles, processes and methodologies, integrated with support to the PMO as well as training and support to the end users and project managers.
