I am an admitted Advocate of the High Court of South Africa and have extensive corporate and commercial legal and governance experience gained through a variety of industry sectors. I believe myself to be a highly dependable and organized Legal Counsel and Company Secretary who can drive organisational improvement and effectively assist management teams.

Over the course of my career, I have obtained the following in-depth experience and abilities:

• I am well-versed in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating standard and complex contracts and a broad range of legal documents for companies (including review, implementation, and management of corporate policies) while effectively attending to legal research, interpreting laws, rules, and regulations, and analyze and advise on probable outcomes.
• I am adept at providing general legal counsel for companies, conducting due diligence reviews, enterprise risk assessment, advising companies on matters pertaining to government- and private procurement, mergers, and acquisitions, and providing legal advice on employment law matters.
• I have significant experience developing, implementing, and managing contract management- and compliance systems, while also driving and effectively managing arbitration and litigation matters.
• I am skilled in all aspects of South African corporate governance including the South African Companies Act, and The King IV report whilst also having significant experience working in other international jurisdictions emanating from previous employment opportunities with large multinational companies.
