Mr Phuti Maphaka is a highly dedicated person who possesses excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. He also can develop and maintain mutually beneficial internal and external relationships at junior levels. He derives pleasure from being part of a successful team and thrives in highly pressurised and challenging working environments. Mr Maphaka is a very adaptable person and learns very quickly. With a strong adjudication background, he has a clear understanding of managing students. He is presently searching for a suitable lecturer, teaching, coaching role with an exciting and progressive entity

• Design of relevant academic programmes.
• Development of curriculum for programmes.
• Maintenance and updating of content relevant to subjects taught including but not limited to:
o Design Matrixes/Curriculum o Lesson plans, Methodologies o Assessment briefs
o Content Manuals
• Inclusion of student, industry and institutional feedback in curriculum development.
• Aligning specifications of programmes.
• Attend and contribute to relevant quality committees including the specific Programme
committee;
• Collaboration with other subject lecturers and incorporation of feedback into overall subject
content development.
• Development of subject presentation material.
• Keeping abreast of institutional, industry and academic changes.
• Development of programme’s associated policies.
• Submissions for regulatory approval of relevant programmes (including HEQC and DOE).
• To lecture subject matter.
• Plan and prepare for the lectures and provide visual notes for students.
• Take responsibility for the quality of teaching provided, ensure continuous improvement and
where necessary undertake training to ensure standards are delivered.
• Upgrade design matrixes/curriculum by benchmarking against public and industry standards,
both nationally and internationally.
Supervise student projects and placements (WIL) where required.
