About PHEANA IVY SHWATJA:
I started working in the Information management in the year 2022 at City of Johannesburg, I then joined the NGO space in 2007 doing M&E interchanging it with Information Management up until now.
Experience
I have worked in the South African health sector since 2000. I have worked on different data collection systems like ETR.Net which was used to collect TB patient level data and Tier.Net which is still in use and it is used to collect TB and HIV patient level data. The District Health Information system(DHIS) collecting aggregated data on different services in the health facilities i.e. HIV, Maternal and Neonatal, TB, School health etc. conducting data analysis on all the above mentioned systems and sharing available data with relevant stakeholders for planning and decision making. I have experience in conducting Data quality assessments and assisting in the development of Data quality improvement plans on identified gaps.
Education
I have a certificate in District Health Information System 2(DHIS2) foundation from UNISA and a Higher certificate in Management from FPD. Both certificates are NQF level 5.
I am currently studying for an under graduate degree Public Administration with MANCOSA
