- Started an analytics company in 2019. Notable projects include: i) cloud-based processing, sampling, and text analysis of the Amazon Customer Reviews dataset (233 million reviews), and ii) using circular statistics and linear mixed models to analyse long-term physiological measurements.
- Realigned the research enterprise of the Pain Laboratory of the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, building it into the most productive pain research laboratory in Africa.
