I am a passionate Librarian with demonstrated experience in promoting a strong reading culture in students and preparing and equipping them to be world-class academics and future leaders. I have experience in setting up libraries in institutions from scratch. Librarians play a critical role in supporting academic achievement.  I am a fast learner and tech-savvy individual who is open to learning new concepts.  I have knowledge of various ILMS (Follett Destiny, Sierra, Phoenix and Symphony) which I believe you will find valuable to your organization.

I was recently the Head Librarian at Dubai International Academy . I have vast experience in various information systems (ILMS) namely Symphony, Sierra, Destiny, Phoenix and Data Crow. I specialized in Information Systems during my Master’s. My collaboration, people-centric nature and compassion have afforded me excellent decision making skills. I have acquired valuable professional skills such as planning and coordination, supervising, excellent research capabilities, customer service; library operations knowledge; documentation and records management, maintenance of information materials, acquisitions, lifelong learning as well as training and development.

I am excited to contribute my talents and proficiency in innovation towards team efforts and as an engaging communicator with a proven track record in administrative and leadership skills, my focus on building professional relationships has been beneficial throughout my career
