I have worked in a high pressure driven Manufacturing environment for more than 13 years, 5 years at Actom MV switchgear, as a test technician and later as a senior design draughtperson. 

I then joined General Electric as a quality control technician, testing and commissioning LV switchgear, then later joined Alstom Ubunye, as a quality control inspector/engineer. 

Monitor and verify the acquired/purchased components, parts, items, and products.

• Inspect and release externally sourced components, products, sub-assemblies, etc. – manufactured and/or off-the-shelf.
• Ensure correct assembly of mechanical, electrical, and electronic sub-assemblies, products, and systems as per approved design, standards, and workmanship norms.
• Inspect wiring, interconnecting, and integration of mechanical, electrical, and electronic sub-assemblies, assemblies, and final products according to design and workmanship norms.
• Monitor adherence to sequencing and relevant QCPs during production activities.
• Verify compliance with required standards, processes, and expected norms of components, parts, wiring, assemblies, and final products.
• Compile results, findings, and trend analysis of monitoring and verification activities
