I love problem solving and critical thinking spaces that require a person to be more analytical and technical. I am a team worker with an open heart and mind for learning. I am passionate and highly motivated to make a difference that positively affects everyone I encounter, especially those in need.
Experience
I have worked for the Department of Geosciences (Nelson Mandela University) as a first-year GIS assistant, where I was supervising first year GIS students in their practicals with using QGIS and Google Earth Pro for digitizing and mapping. It was a short-term contract from Sep. 2022 - Nov. 2022.
Education
I have recently completed a BSc Environmental Science qualification at Nelson Mandela University with the following majors:
Applied Marine Botany, Plant Physiology,
Plant ecophysiology, Plant Ecology and
Environmental Management, Geomorphology, Geoinformation Systems 3, Environmental Management, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
