In my recent job I was an Admin Clerk at eThekwini municipality Health unit for 2 years, I was responsible for the the following duties:
• Maintain, store, retrieve and update of all filing manually and electronically for general admin.
• Time and attendance documents submission.
• Data Capturing, Scanning, Filing, Photocopying.
• Controlling the closure of files/ registers and opening new files.
• Registering patients on HPRS system.
• Capturing files on TIER.net
• Archiving files, Filing of inventory invoices.
• Ensuring patient’s information is maintained,stored and properly managed to enable the
retrieval and filing.
• Ensuring the collection and verification of patient related information/statistics and the
development of reports in support of accurate and timeous management of reporting
processes.
• Processing of orders and issuing of stationary, materials, sundries.
• Capturing on Ideal Clinic Web management and generating reports.
• Stock ordering management and managing receipt of supplier invoices for several stock.
• Inventory management.
• Operating switchboard, answering incoming and outgoing calls, Emails.
• Booking venues and Assisting with SRH, BANC, APC and IMCI Trainings.
• Taking down minutes in meeting held and Cost Centre.
• Maintain confidentiality of staff, and patient information.
• Providing Clerical duties effectively to contract management.
• Recording, arranging appointments, event and meetings
